Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the TechViewAI Report Connector (the "Service"), operated by TechViewAI ("we"), handles information, including information received from Google APIs. Each installation of the Service is operated for a single organisation (the "Customer") and serves only that Customer's approved users.

Information we access

• Your email address (Google sign-in: openid, email), to confirm you are a user the Customer has approved. We do not request your contacts, calendar, files or other Google data.
• Gmail messages and attachments of the Customer's connected mailbox (gmail.readonly), read only when an approved user or the Customer's scheduled task asks the Service to search, read or save them — in practice, the Customer's property-report emails.
• Sending from the connected mailbox (gmail.send, only if the Customer enables it), used solely to email the finished report to the recipient list set by the Customer's administrators.

Only the mailbox owner grants Gmail access. Other approved users sign in with their email address only; we never access their mailboxes.

How we use it

• To let approved users search and read the Customer's report emails through Claude.
• To save report attachments, check the figures in them, and produce the Customer's report.
• To send the finished report to the Customer's chosen recipients.
• To keep the Service secure: we log sign-ins and tool use (who, when, which action) for audit and abuse prevention.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train or improve general artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Sharing

• Anthropic (Claude). When an approved user or the Customer's scheduled task uses Claude with this connector, the email content and attachments that Claude requests are passed to Claude to perform the analysis the user asked for. Anthropic processes it under the terms the Customer has with Anthropic.
• The Customer's recipients. Finished reports are emailed only to addresses the Customer's administrators have added.
• Hosting. The Service runs on a virtual server operated for us by our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
• Legal. If required by law, or to protect the security of the Service or its users.

We do not share Google user data with anyone else, and no person at TechViewAI reads it except with the Customer's permission, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when it has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The Service's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

• Google access tokens are stored encrypted; sign-in and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes.
• Saved attachments and reports are kept in the Customer's private folder on the server, readable only by the Service's own system account.
• All connections use HTTPS. The Service cannot delete, label or modify email.

Retention and deletion

• Saved attachments and finished reports are kept for as long as the Customer uses the Service, so past weeks can be compared and audited, and deleted when the Customer asks or stops using the Service.
• Audit logs are kept for up to 12 months.
• You can remove the Service's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have stored data deleted, email us at the address below.
